Don’t miss the Karns Community Fair!

The Karns Community Fair is the longest continuously running community fair in the state! It is held from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. each year on the 4th Saturday in July (so in 2018, it will be on July 22) and draws thousands of people of all ages who enjoy the wide range of events, vendors, activities, and games, or just the opportunity to visit with old friends and make new friends. Activities begin with the traditional Karns Parade which starts at 9:00 a.m. at the Ingles parking lot. (Parade participants start lining up in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m.). The parade proceeds along Oak Ridge Highway to the traffic light at Walgreen’s/Weigel’s where it turns left onto Byington-Beaver Ridge Road and then proceeds to Karns High School, the location of the Fair.

Businesses, politicians, nonprofit organizations, and crafters are urged to submit applications for booth space as early as possible as booth space is limited and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Watch for posting of the 2018 Karns Community Fair Booth Application. Also watch the “Karns Community Fair” Facebook page for additional information on plans and how you can become involved as a volunteer!
